Alloa To Larbert
(Part III - Alloa Swing Bridge to Alloa Junction)
After leaving Alloa West Junction the line crossed the river Forth via the Alloa Swing Bridge. On the south side
of the river there was a signal box at Throsk guarding the junction for the Bandeath Ammunition Depot. The line
met the ex-Caledonian Stirling to Perth main line just north of Larbert at Alloa Junction. The line from Alloa
West Junction to Alloa Junction totalled 8.75 miles in distance.
