Gresley-designed class V2 no. 60957 accelerates its train of fish vans away from Dalmeny station in June 1957.

Class A1 no. 60161 "North British" enters Dalmeny station a fish train most likely from Aberdeen in September 1958.

With safety valves lifting ex-LNER V3 no. 67669 enters Dalmeny station with a Thornton - Waverley

local train in September 1958.

April 1952 and ex-NB K Class (LNER Class D34) 4-4-0 no. 62468 "Glen Orchy" emerges from the southern cantilever

of the Forth Bridge and heads towards Dalmeny station with a local train from Thornton Junction.  Built in September

1913 this locomotive was withdrawn from service in September 1958.

May 1957 and ex-LNER Class D49/1 4-4-0 no. 62704 "Stirlingshire" approaches the southern cantilever of the Forth Bridge

with a 4-coach local service to Stirling via Dunfermline.  At the ramp in the center foreground is the ferry "William Wallace".
