October 1966 and a highly shined J36 no. 65288 approaches Dunfermline Lower station from the east.

June 1959 and ex-LNER D11/2 no. 62677 Edie Ochiltree leaves Inverkeithing station with a

Rosyth Dockyard - Edinburgh train.

June 1959 and ex-LNER D34 no. 62467 Glenfinnan approaches Inverkeithing station with a Rosyth Dockyard to Dysart

train. The signal box is long since demolished and the track layout has been greatly simplified since this photograph was

taken.  I think the warehouse building on the left was converted into flats in the late 1980's/early 1990's.
